At Rosedale Strong, our group fitness program is designed to help members move better, feel stronger, and stay active for years to come.
Whether you are looking to build strength, improve mobility, increase cardiovascular endurance, or simply enjoy moving with others, our diverse schedule of classes offers something for every fitness level.
From energizing cardio and strength workouts to yoga, Pilates (seasonal), and restorative movement classes, there is something for every fitness level and interest. 9 classes per week (10 classes per week January through April) are included with your club membership and are thoughtfully designed for active adults—from members in their 50s to vibrant participants in their 80s and 90s. An additional 6 classes per week are available for a small additional instructor fee.
Our instructors provide supportive guidance and movement options so every member can participate comfortably and confidently.
One of the most powerful aspects of group fitness is the sense of community. Members encourage one another, celebrate progress together, and enjoy the shared energy of moving as a group.

Our Class Offerings
Rosedale Strong offers a diverse selection of classes designed to support strength, mobility, balance, and cardiovascular fitness. Each class provides thoughtful instruction and movement options so members can participate comfortably and confidently.
Total Body Strength
A dynamic total-body strength workout using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises to build muscular endurance, improve balance, and support functional movement. Timed intervals keep the class engaging while scalable options allow you to work at the level that suits you best. Included with club membership.
Total Body Interval
A dynamic blend of cardio, strength, and mobility designed to build balanced fitness in an energizing, supportive environment. Included with club membership.
Cardio Dance
A 30-minute upbeat cardio workout set to music that blends simple choreography with energizing dance movement. Easy-to-follow combinations build throughout the class for a fun and engaging way to improve cardiovascular fitness and coordination. Instructor Fee: $5 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Water Aerobics
A refreshing, low-impact workout that uses water resistance and aquatic dumbbells to improve strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness while being gentle on the joints. Members should bring their own water aerobics dumbbells. If weather does not permit pool use, the class will move indoors for an accessible cardio and strength workout. Included with club membership.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga combines slow, mindful movement with breath to improve flexibility, balance, and mobility. This calming practice helps release tension, build strength, and leave you feeling refreshed and restored. Included with club membership.
Yoga for Strength & Balance
A yoga class designed to build strength, improve balance, and support flexibility through mindful movement and thoughtful alignment. Light hand weights are incorporated to enhance stability and functional strength.
Instructor Fee: $10 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Chair Yoga
A supportive yoga class using seated and standing movements with the assistance of a chair to improve flexibility, balance, strength, and mobility. Included with club membership.
Chair Yoga Sit ’N Tone
This class combines chair yoga with the benefits of light weight training. Adding resistance helps build muscle, support bone density, and improve core stability while enjoying the gentle movement of a yoga practice. Instructor Fee: $10 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Sit, Stand & Tone
A 30-minute supportive strength class combining seated and standing exercises using light weights and bodyweight movements to improve strength, balance, mobility, and everyday functional movement. Instructor Fee: $5 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Sit, Stand & Tone Yoga
A supportive class combining seated and standing exercises using light weights and gentle yoga movements. The class focuses on improving strength, posture, balance, and core stability while encouraging mindful breathing and comfortable movement. Instructor Fee: $10 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates focuses on controlled movements that strengthen the core, improve posture, and build stability throughout the body. This low-impact practice develops strength, mobility, and body awareness through precise, mindful movement. Included with club membership January through April. May through December requires instructor fee: $10 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
Deep Stretch & Relax
A calming class focused on gentle, longer-held stretches designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and ease of movement while helping the body release tension and restore. Included with club membership.
Strength & Power Hour
Unleash your inner strength in this dynamic class designed to build muscle, boost endurance, and improve balance. Using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises, you'll work through targeted muscle group circuits paired with bursts of cardio and agility movements. Focused balance drills enhance stability and coordination, while controlled, purposeful movements ensure a safe and effective workout. Instructor Fee: $10 payable in cash directly to the instructor.
